Join us for dinner and a discussion with Thomas Agresta, MD MBI . Dr. Agresta will explain and demonstrate digital tools that are being used in primary care to more effectively communicate with patients. During the session, we will explore: trends, the pros and cons of using these tools, and how to best integrate them into primary care practice.
Digital tools we will consider:
- Patient portals
- Telemedicine
- Texting (secure and non-secure)
- Phone-based health monitoring apps
- Home monitoring for chronic diseases
CIPCI's Resident Toolbox Series is a forum for discussing common challenges and practical innovations in primary care practice. The primary audience is Residents and Attending Physicians, but anyone is welcome to attend.
